We are a bunch of optimistic enthusiasts out here at Sankhya and we are hoping the lockdown ends soon.

Hence here is our Final Competition of our Lockdown Data Science Series.

Get to your computers quickly and take part in the last one in this series and look out if you are the winner in our News section next week.

How to Compete?

Download the data
Develop your R/Python program and send us as txt file. (Do not send data or output)
We will evaluate your code for correctness, efficiency & understanding of the subject.
The winner will be awarded INR 1000/- voucher ( which shall be couriered to you post lockdown)
The winner will be announced on our Website as well as the News tab of the R factor / Py factor app (get in touch with us on us at contactus@sankhyaanalytics.com to know more)
Develop Efficient R or Python Program :
1. The data provided has one variable X and 30 observations in the population
2. Find mean and standard deviation of X
3. Draw a random sample of size 30 from the given data (use sampling with replacement)
4. Find mean and standard deviation of X for this random sample
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 above 500 times
6. Find mean of 500 means and mean of 500 standard deviations
7. Write a comment on your answer
